Member Support

The BCAMT Executive includes many leaders in mathematics education who are willing to support members across the province through workshops. The BCAMT can provide professional development to groups of teachers on topics related to mathematics education.

The BCAMT will cover costs associated with travel, accommodation, and release (for the presenter) to bring an expert teacher into your community to provide a one-day workshop to BCAMT members. If your teachers are not currently members of the BCAMT, it is easy to become a member and gain access to all the benefits that membership includes.

Possible topics include:

• Curriculum (Curricular Competencies and Content)
• Equity
• Differentiation
• Thinking Classrooms
• Numeracy
